2015 Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade: Celebrate Thanksgiving day by enjoying one of St Louis’ biggest and brightest holiday parades. The parade starts at 8:45 am on Thursday, November 26th and is located in Downtown St Louis. You can enjoy musical floats and displays, giant helium balloon figures, storybook characters and, of course, Santa! If you are unable to attend the parade you can tune into KMOV-TV Channel 4, where the parade will be broadcasted live. (From 7th and Market Street)
Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Garden: Garden Glow is an extraordinary event that creates a winter wonderland for it’s visitors by providing unique installations, interactive photo opportunities, traditional holiday music and more. You and your family will be fascinated by the Botanical Garden’s holiday transformation. This year’s Garden Glow even offers specially priced family nights! The Polar Express Train Ride: Create a memorable holiday season by taking your family on a trip to the North Pole! U.S. Bank Wild Lights: Winter is snow much fun here in St Louis! You’re guaranteed to have some holiday fun at The St Louis Zoo during Wild Lights. This year you can visit Kali the polar bear, admire the holiday light displays, watch live ice carving demonstrations, listen to stories around the campfire, ride the carousel, eat s’mores and much more. Winter Wonderland at Tilles Park: If you’d like to experience a traditional winter wonderland that features over a million lights and festive holiday scenes, this is the place for you! You can drive through the park to admire the lights and displays, or you can enhance your time by viewing them on a horse-drawn carriage. Winter Wonderland is open for vehicular traffic and carriage rides from Nov. 25th – Jan. 2nd, Sunday-Friday from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Saturdays are reserved for carriage rides only.
