We always do our best to make your short-term St. Louis housing feel like home. Here are of couple tips that may help the adjustment even easier!

Accessorize

One of the easiest ways to make temporary housing feel more personal is by accessorizing. Adding personal touches, such as family pictures, to the apartment will help you feel closer to your loved ones. Bring items that have the scent of home on them such as scented candles or blankets. They will instantly make the space feel more like your own.

Stock the kitchen

Nothing feels more like home than a fridge full of your favorite foods. It is hard to settle into a new home when you have to go out to a restaurant for every meal. Head out to a local grocery store and pick up some ingredients so you can cook for yourself. Cooking in your temporary home will quickly make you feel more comfortable there.

Rearrange

Although our housing comes completely furnished, don’t be afraid to move things around! If you think the furniture would better fit your needs arranged a different way, go for it! Whether you want to feng shui your space, or simply want your seating to face the window, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible in your interim housing. After all, this is your new home.
